1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rightify ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service from anywhere in the world.
2. Not Legal Advice
Rightify provides general legal information, not legal advice. The information provided through our AI assistant is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and does not create an attorney-client, solicitor-client, or any other professional relationship between you and Rightify.
Always consult a qualified lawyer or legal professional for advice specific to your situation. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change frequently. Rightify makes no guarantee that the information provided is accurate, complete, or up to date in your jurisdiction.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using Rightify, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms under the laws of your country or jurisdiction.
4. Account Registration
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at supportandbilling@rightify.app.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Rightify offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method accordingly. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription payment by contacting supportandbilling@rightify.app. This guarantee applies to your first payment on each plan tier and is subject to our Fair Use Policy (see Section 6). Refunds are not available where usage indicates systematic extraction of content, abuse, or circumvention of plan limits.
Outside of the money-back guarantee period, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.
6. Fair Use Policy
Rightify is designed for individual use by people seeking to understand their legal rights. To protect the integrity of the Service and ensure fair access for all users, the following fair use limits apply:
- Usage intensity: Submitting more than 100 questions within any 48-hour period is considered abnormal usage and may indicate automated scraping, systematic content extraction, or abuse. Such usage voids eligibility for the 7-day money-back guarantee and may result in account suspension.
- No bulk extraction: You may not use the Service to systematically collect, reproduce, or redistribute AI-generated responses for commercial purposes, training datasets, or any purpose other than your own personal legal information needs.
- Single-user accounts: Accounts may not be shared between multiple individuals or used to provide legal information services to third parties on a commercial basis without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns, flag accounts that exceed fair use thresholds, and decline refund requests where abuse is detected. Accounts found in breach of this policy may be suspended without refund.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use automated tools to send bulk queries
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorisation
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology on Rightify — including but not limited to logos, text, AI systems, and software — is owned by or licensed to Rightify. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any content you submit (questions, documents). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rightify and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information provided is accurate, complete, or applicable in your jurisdiction.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the integrity of the Service.
13. Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at legal@rightify.app so we can attempt to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, both parties agree to pursue resolution through good-faith negotiation or, where appropriate, mediation before initiating formal legal proceedings.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you retain the right to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
